have a 1500 and the right ft wheel seems loose, checdked the lugs and they are tight but the wheel wobles. The tractor is 4wd. if ti was a car i would think it was the fount wheel bearing loose, is it the same here and how would you get at it to repair. took the wheel off but have no idea of what to do next.

Remove the top bolt & bottom half of assembly will drop. You can then inspect & disassemble it.I can supply you with parts & a parts breakdown . Need tp know if the tractor has a steel or cast clutch housing ot get the correct parts. ....

took it apart somewhat. was able to drop the unit ,remove the lower 6 bolts but could not get it all the way apart. felt around in side with finger and found that the nut holding the wheel shaft was loose. tried to get it tight but was afaird to get it too tight. there was no locking not on the shaft. it looks like someone had rebuilt it before, there where numbers on the out side like a junk yard would use to nake a part. there was no broken parts that i could see and no metal in unit, but the wheel is still is loose. who do it get this all the wat apart to work on it. ....
